This ministry was founded by David and Phyllis Smith in 2014, and is now an integral part of the overall ministry here at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Ministry highlights include an annual deaf camp trip and the Big Deaf Day, which highlights the ministry aspects of the deaf outreach.

Street Preaching & Tract Ministry
This ministry serves as the means for our going to the highways and hedges, as commanded in the scriptures. The ministry involves open-air preaching gospel tract distribution and individual witnessing to the general public on the streets of downtown Columbia SC.
Family Ministries
These include the scriptural teachings and biblical instruction for our married couples (Better Together), which meets on the first Friday of each month and the Women's Fellowship, which meets on the second Thursday of each month.

The classes involve study of the Old Testament, New Testament and specialty courses such as study of cults, etc. Classes are held each Tuesday evening throughout the month.
